The Algood Cemetery will be a part of an Eagle Scout Project for headstone cleaning. The cleaning will use appropriate soft brushes in conjunction with a D2 Biological Solution to achieve the cleaning. The cleaning will begin April 15, 2025. Any family who has a stone in the cemetery wishing it not to be cleaned will need to notify the city at 931-537-9545 ext. 3 or email at anna.walker@algoodtn.gov. All other stones will be cleaned if not notified.
Dawn dish soap will not be used.
